Walker, MI (WZZM)- The biggest online shopping day of the year is here and shoppers are expected to spend a whopping $1.5 million. It's becoming more popular every year with big discounts and the convenience of shopping from home.

WZZM 13 is On Your Side, looking at ways you can maximize your bargains. Reporter Sarah Sell didn't have to go far to find an expert at shopping online.

"Today is a big day. This is the day I live for," says Stephanie Webb. When it comes to shopping, the Take Five Co-Host is one of the best. "The idea of going into a mall makes me sweaty. I need to be at home and have the package arrive on my front door."

Stephanie helped us find some deals. We asked our friends on the WZZM 13 Facebook page for some ideas. The first, was a Keurig coffee maker. "The three sites I like are Amazon.com, Overstock.com, and Walmart.com."

The best deal we could find on the basic model was from Overstock.com. It cost $112.46 andthe shipping was free. "Just about everywhere is offering some kind of free shipping. If you pay for shipping on Cyber Monday, you have not done your research."

The next item was a LeapPad 2 Explorer. We found one of LeapFrog.com for $99.99. Shipping was free for anything over $60.

A lot of people on Facebook also asked us to check prices for tablets. There were too many to choose from, so we focused on the new Google Nexus 7 with 16 GB. It was $199.99 at Officedepot.com. Shipping was free for qualifying items over $25. We also checked to see if there were any promotional codes online. Unfortunately, none applied to what we're looking for but you should never shop without first searching for a coupon code.

In the end, we think we saved some money. Sure, we might have been able to find slightly better prices on Black Friday, but this way, we didn't have to fight the crowds. "If you want to stay home, these are going to be your best deals," says Webb.
