ALLEGAN, Mich. (WZZM) - A Wayland attorney is facing drug charges, after police found evidence they say links him to the operation of a meth lab.

Officers from the West Michigan Enforcement Team (WEMET) report the arrest of Wayland attorney Patrick Bursonon meth related charges.

On June 13, 2012, investigators executed search warrants atBurson's law office in Wayland and at a residence in Otsego Township. Meth labs and production components were found at both locations.

Arrest warrants were issued for Burson, Polly Gates and Sherry Cunningham. The suspects turned themselves into the Allegan County Sheriff's office on Wednesday, and then faced arraignment in Alllegan County District Court.

Burson is charged with: four counts of operating/maintaining of a meth lab, which is a 20-year felony per count; two counts of possession of meth, a 10-year felony per count; and two counts of delivery/manufacture of meth, a 20 year felony per count.

Gatesis charged with four counts of operating/maintaining a meth lab, two counts of possession of meth, and two counts of deleviery/manfacture of meth.

Cunningham is charged with possession of amphetamines.
