WOLF LAKE, Mich. (WZZM) -- A Muskegon County man, inspired by his deer hunting experiences, has created his own small business.

It's called "Bourne to Grill," and the product is intended to make cooking over a campfire easier.

Tim Bourne, creator of the Bourne to Grill tripod, uses it to make backyard breakfast tacos -- chorizo, eggs, beans and tortillas cooked over an open flame.

"Food over the fire is about the best you can get," he says.

Bourne designed the tripod, and builds the pieces in his shop. He says it includes features that improve the outdoor open-flame cooking experience, including the ability to adjust the grill's height with ease.

"It makes an average person a pretty good cook," he says.

Bourne's design also allows the tripod to fold up for transportation and storage.

"It weighs about eight pounds, so it is not heavy at all," he says.

The grill is sold at a few specialty stores around Michigan and on the Bourne to Grill website.
