WYOMING, Mich. (WZZM) - Two men were arrested Friday morning after allegedly holding up a Wyoming cash advance store.

Police responded to a call of an armed robbery at about 11:15am at the Advance America at 4130 S. Division. Witnesses told police that a suspect entered the store and demanded case. He implied that he had a weapon and the witness said it looked like he had a gun in his waistband. The suspect fled after getting an undisclosed amount of cash in a waiting vehicle.

Police saw the vehicle as they responded to the scene and pursued it to 48th Street and Eastern in Kentwood where the suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. They were arrested a short time later. Police say that a weapon was recovered.

The suspects are a 28-year-old Lowell man and a 20-year-old Grand Rapids man. They are currently in custody and their names will be released after they are arraigned.
