GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) - A new exhibit at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum gives kids a journey through the "Adventure Jungle," as they work on key development skills.

The exhibit is called "Adventures in Balance," and it features a rock wall and balancing stations set on a pretend river and lava pit.

"It's an environment that allows children to fully immerse themselves in their imagination," said Director of Program Operations Jake Woller.

The designers of this exhibit say this is for all ages and great for improving gross motor skills, which can help improve balance, coordination, body awareness and even self-confidence.

The exhibit will be open until June. Click here to visit the museum website, and get the details to plan your next visit!
