Try these easy ways to use your Noodle!

Light Alfredo with Pasta and Vegetables

1 lb. of whole-grain pasta

1 jar light Alfredo sauce

1 cup Meijer frozen peas, thawed

½ - 1 cup Markets of Meijer low sodium deli ham, cut into cubes

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to pot. Add Alfredo sauce, peas and ham. Warm until heated through.

Serve with: Dole green salad

Meijer fat free milk.

Simple Salmon Pasta

8 oz. whole-grain penne pasta, cooked

1 can Meijer red salmon, drained and flaked

¼ cup toasted pine nuts

2 Tbsp. olive oil

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

3 cups Earthbound Farms arugula

Lemon pepper seasoning to taste

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and place in a large bowl. Add salmon, oil, lemon juice, seasoning and arugula. Toss and top with pine nuts.

Serve with: Whole grain baguette (bakery) with trans-fat free margarine
