Grand Rapids, Mich. - Have you ever wanted to see your artwork on public display? Now is your chance to see it come to life as a lion, tiger, bear or other figure and cheer in the stands of sporting events throughout West Michigan.
The West Michigan Sports Commission has launched the "Who's Your Mascot Challenge," running now through March 1. The winning submittals will be used in the design of an official
mascot for the organization that will attend youth and amateur sporting events in the region. "We are excited to challenge our community to push their creativity as they think of what type of
character will best represent our region as a premier venue for youth and amateur sporting events," said Mike Guswiler, President of the West Michigan Sports Commission. "Sports play
a major role in the culture and economy of West Michigan, and we want to celebrate this in a fun and engaging way with a mascot who attends games and tournaments and interacts with the fans."

2. High School (must be in high school, grades 9-12, when submitting final project)
