Shoot for the Stars Spring Break Camp

The Air Zoo's Shoot for the Stars Spring Break Camp is designed for kids of all ages. Campers can choose from a full or half-day of fun!

Full-Day Camp

April 3 or April 5

9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

$75

Limited to 30 kids for each date

Campers will journey through the history of rockets and space exploration during this day-long adventure! They'll build and launch* their very own model rockets while learning all about their components and how they fly. Campers will also build and launch soda straw and Alka-Seltzer rockets, in addition to exploring the Space: Dare to Dream exhibit. The day is complete with an exciting scavenger hunt around the Air Zoo and free time to enjoy its attractions!

The full-day camp includes a model rocket (with an engine and igniter), instruction, a juice, a snack, lunch with a beverage, T-shirt and an Ultimate Ace wristband package for each child.

Children who are 8 years old and younger must be accompanied by a responsible chaperone. Chaperones will receive a complimentary Co-Pilot wristband package along with a juice, a snack, lunch and a beverage.

Half-Day Camp

Kids will uncover the mystery and science behind rockets during this half-day camp! They'll learn all about rockets and space exploration while building and launching* their very own model rocket! Campers will also partake in a scavenger hunt around the Air Zoo and tour the Space: Dare to Dream exhibit.

The goal of the Town Crier 5K & 10K is to provide an outstanding competitive event for runners that encourages health, exercise and fun for all! Two new courses this year-the 10K which includes a loop on the bike path and woods southwest of town and the 5K winding around historic Saugatuck. Run both races for just one entry fee. The 1K Crier Kids Dash is a non-competitive fun run to interest kids in running as a sport. The Town Crier will benefit Saugatuck Public School athletics, Community Recreation, and SABA.

The 10K begins at 9 a.m. Next is the Crier Kids Dash at 9:15 a.m The 5K will begin between 10 and 10:15 a.m. depending on the 10K finishers.
