WALKER, Mich. (WZZM) - Crews are trying to figure out why a Walker woman became ill and lost consciousness and then two police officers trying to help her also became sick.

Walker Police were called to a home in the 3100 block of Butterworth SW on a call of a woman losing consciousness. While the officers started CPR on the woman, they also started feeling ill and got headaches. They were taken to the hospital andtreated and released. The woman was taken to the hospital but her condition is not known at this time. The father who also lives at the home reports feeling sick in the last few days, but not enough so that he needed medical attention.

The Walker Fire Department was called in to test the home. They tell WZZM 13 News that carbon monoxide was not the problem. They say a possible meth lab is being considered.The Michigan State Police havebeen called in to help determine what the substance was that made the woman and the officers sick.
