MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - The Muskegon County Prosecutor's Office has officially charged 17 high school students from Muskegon High School after a lunch room brawl in March.

The brawl happened on March 26th during freshman lunch. Police used pepper spray to stop the fighting.

Two 17-year-old girls were charged as adults with misdemeanors. One was chargewith resisting and obstructing police and fighting and the other with fighting. 15 others were charged as juveniles with various crimes including resisting and obstructing police, fighting, assault and battery, and disorderly conduct.

Students involved also are facing school discipline.
