GRAND RAPIDS/MUSKEGON - (WZZM) - The first weekend of May may be a headache to travelers at times throughout West Michigan.
On northbound US-131 through Grand Rapids, the two left lanes will be closed from Hall Street, all the way to Ann Street. This construction starts at 10:00pm Friday and lasts until Monday morning at 5:00am.
The left lane of westbound I-196 over the Grand River near Market Avenue is closing at 9:00pm Friday until Monday morning at 6:00pm. A lane heading eastbound on I-196 at that location is also closed and will be until July.
The ramp from northbound US-131 to westbound I-196 will also be closed from 10:00pm Friday night until 5:00am Monday morning.
In Muskegon County, the left lane of US-31 between Shettler and Hile Roads will be closed in both directions between 8:00pm Friday until 6:00am Monday.
