MUSKEGON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- Police say they removed an RV with more than a dozen cats from property on Kregle Road because it created a health hazard and violated a Muskegon Township ordinance.
The vehicle was moved to the Humane Society and Animal Rescue of Muskegon County on Tuesday.
Police say the vehicle's owners had recently demolished their house because of a number building code violations and moved the cats into the RV.
Police were able to catch more than 10 cats inside the RV while it was parked on Kregle Road. Moving the RV to the Humane Society allowed staff to coax the remaining cats out with food and catch them.
