UPDATE (WXYZ) - This morning, May 20 at approximately 7:15 a.m., at Grand River and Lasher, the suspect, Stacey Anderson (father), relesed the child, Alonna Anderson, to her relatives. The child is safe and was not harmed.

Both suspects are still wanted for the kidnapping.

DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Detroit Police have issued an Amber Alert for a missing 3-year-old little girl from Detroit.

Alonna Anderson was last seen in the area of Northfield Ave. and I-96. She is described as a 3-year-old black female, 3 feet tall and about 48 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.

Alonna is said to be wearing a floral shirt and skirt with white, pink, green, yellow, and orange flowers on the shirt, white sandals and braids with white beads in her hair.

Police say an unknown black male took the child from her home around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night and placed her inside a vehicle while the mother was being assaulted by the child's father.

They have named one of the two suspects as Stacey Anderson. He is described as a 29-year-old male, 5 feet 9 inches, 165 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair and a tattoo of a pitbull dog on his left arm.

He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, stone washed gray jean shorts and gray timberland boots.

The suspects are believed to be driving an older model, green Jeep Cherokee with an unknown license plate.

The Amber Alert is issued for Southeast Michigan. Michigan State Police say they do not have reason to believe the suspects and girl are headed to West Michigan.
