Eastbourne, England (Sports Network) - Eastbourne standout Andreas Seppi continued his winning ways at this tournament with a quarterfinal victory Thursday at the $625,000 Aegon International, a final grass-court Wimbledon tune-up.
The seventh-seeded Seppi subdued Czech veteran Radek Stepanek 6-4, 6-2 at Devonshire Park, where the Italian titled in 2011 and was last year's runner- up to since-retired American star Andy Roddick.
Also on Day 4, Croat Ivan Dodig upended eighth-seeded Italian Fabio Fognini 6-3, 6-2, and in a battle of Spanish left-handers Feliciano Lopez topped Fernando Verdasco 6-4, 7-6 (8-6). Dodig and Lopez will square off on Friday.
The 2013 Eastbourne champion will collect $113,000.
