WYOMING, Mich., (WZZM) -- Wyoming Police have identified the man they say assaulted a Rapid bus driver, but he has not yet been arrested.
The attack happened around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9. Police say the female bus driver told the passenger to exit the bus or pay again after he had completed a ride of the entire bus route.
The suspect approached the driver and punched her in the face before exiting the bus and running on South Division Avenue. Wyoming Police say they have since identified the man and hope to interview him soon about the incident.
The bus driver was not seriously injured, but after being treated at the hospital, she got into a car accident and remains in the hospital.
