CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. (WZZM) -- Two Kent County Road Commission employees were injured when their work vehicle drifted into a ditch and rolled onto its side.

The crash happened around 4 p.m. in the in the 5400 block of 17 Mile Road NE, as the workers were leaving a job site and headed back to the road commission complex south of Cedar Springs.

The driver, Austin Wamser, 19, of Cedar Springs was pinned in the vehicle and his legs had to be extricated from under the dashboard. He was flown by AeroMed to Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids with non life-threatening injuries.

The passenger, Kory Myers, 19, of Gowen was taken to the hospital and expected to recover.
