BUSHNELL, Mich. (WZZM) -- The Central Michigan Enforcement Team eradicated over 200 marijuana plants from multiple locations in Montcalm County Monday.

CMET also uncovered six outdoor medical marijuana grow operations which were in violation and non-compliant with the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act.

Authorities did not make any arrests.

CMET was assisted by Michigan State Police, the DNR, the Montcalm County Sheriff's Department, the Greenville Department of Public Safety, and police from Edmore, Howard City, Lakeview, and Carson City.

BUSHNELL, Mich. (WZZM) -- Michigan State Police were spotted removing plants from a barn in Montcalm County Monday evening, according to a WZZM 13 viewer.

The investigation is centered in the area of East Sessions Road and Wood Road, east of Sheridan.

Kirby Stewart Johnson reported seeing several marked and unmarked police cars in the area.

A Montcalm County Central Dispatch operator told WZZM 13 he was unaware of police activity in the area.
