Celebrate Our Local Work Force With The Holland/Zeeland Community Labor Day Truck Parade and Ice Cream Social on September 2, 2013

Monday, August 26, 2013. Holland, MI. The Holland/Zeeland Community Labor Day Truck Parade, taking place on September 2, is a celebration of our local businesses and workforce. The event will host close to 60 large trucks from companies that produce and distribute goods from the Holland/Zeeland area. These big rigs "bring the noise" as they roll through downtown Zeeland beginning at 9:15am. The parade will arrive in Holland at approximately 9:30am and end at the Holland Civic Center where free ice cream (compliments of the Truck Parade Foundation and Macatawa Bank), Boar's Head hot dogs and giveaway items will be handed out (while supplies last).

We invite the community to join in the celebration by cheering on the trucks along the parade route and then joining us at the Holland Civic Center directly after the parade. Whether you're new to the area or a long-time resident this an event you wont want to miss! So, be sure to bring your family, friends and co-workers to this annual celebration and don't forget your earplugs!

Volunteers are still needed for this event. Please contact Carla Flanders at if you are interested in participating.
