GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- The 2nd Annual Ducky Dash is scheduled for Saturday during Grand Rapids' Celebration on the Grand.

It's an event that allows patrons to "adopt" a rubber duck to send down the Grand River. You can adopt a duck for a buck, as Dash Director Mike Witkowski told us in studio Saturday morning.

The ducks will be released from the Pearl Street Bridge at 4 p.m., and will be collected at the Blue Bridge. The top ten finishers will win prizeslike gift certificates to area shops. The grand prize is an overnight stay at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.

Ducks will be up for adoption through the afternoon in Rosa Parks Circle and in Ah-Nab-Awen Park.

All money raised at the 2013 Ducky Dash will go back into Celebration on the Grand. The dash would not be possible without the help of their sponsors Grand Valley Health Plan and theGrand Rapids Mental Health Foundation.
