ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- The victim and his accused killer in an Alpine Township homicide have been identified.
The Kent County Sheriff was called Friday to the 3800 block of Yorkland Drive NW on a suspicious death which was determined to be a homicide.
Investigators say Brandon Nelson, 33, was found dead. His cousin, Kyle Wilson, 23, who was living with Brandon, was arrested Saturday as a suspect in the murder. Investigators say that Kyle admitted to killing Brandon and is charged with open murder.
