UPDATE 2:30 p.m. - The Amber Alert for Jarren Laron Jackson. Jarren was found safe Saturday morning. Police have not released any other details.

AUGUSTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- Michigan State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a two year old missing out of Washtenaw County.

Police say Jarren Laron Jackson was taken from his parents' vehicle after it broke down on the side of the road shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators say he was abducted by a white male, who is five foot 10 inches tall. The suspects vehicle is an older red pick up with rust.

Jarren last was seen wearing a red shirt, red hoodie, a camouflage winter coat and blue jeans.

Anyone with with information about Jarren or his abductor or vehicle is asked to call 911 or the Michigan State Police. More information can be found on the Amber Alert Michigan website.
