Cheshire Apple Jack Chicken Sandwich

  • 1 4 oz. butter croissant
  • 1 grilled and butterflied 5 oz. chicken breast
  • 2 slices ripe tomato
  • 2 slices fresh red delicious apple
  • 1 oz. sliced provolone cheese
  • 1 knob butter
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cold water
  • 1/2 oz. honey Dijon mustard

Split and grill croissant with butter. Saute apple rings in butter, sugar, honey and water until tender. Top chicken breast with apple rings and melt provolone cheese on top. Assemble sandwich. Serve open-faced with lettuce and tomato. Drizzle chicken with honey Dijon.
