The Fireman's Ball (1967) Directed by Milos Forman, with Jan Vostrcil and Josef Sebanek. An early comedy film by the Czechoslovakian director who also directed "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," "Hair" and "Amadeus." This is a very funny film about a celebration gone wrong.

"Gun Crazy" (1950) Directed by Joseph H. Lewis, with Peggy Cummins and John Dall. In this cult film, a young couple patterned after Bonnie and Clyde set about robbing banks for fun and profit.

84 Charing Cross Road (1985) Directed by David Hugh Jones, with Anne Bancroft and Anthony Hopkins. An avid book reader in New York strikes up a trans-ocean friendship with a man who runs a bookstore in London. This is a most delicious film especially if you like books.
