CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. (WZZM) -- A Cedar Springs girl has a new "robo-hand" thanks to a teacher and a 3D printer.

Harmony Taylor, 4, was born without a right hand. She outgrew her previous prosthetic and insurance wouldn't cover the cost of a new one.

The new "robo-hand" cost about $500 using cables, screws, and a 3D printer at West Catholic High School.

The robotics team at West Catholic and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital teamed up to give Harmony her new hand Thursday morning.
