(WZZM) - You could soon help raise awareness of breast cancer just by driving around town.
In December, the state legislature passed a bill that would create a pink ribbon license plate in Michigan.
Not only does it allow you to show your support of cancer patients and survivors, it also raises money for a good cause.
State Senator Glenn Anderson introduced the bill in the Michigan Senate. He and Paulette Valliere with the Michigan Department of Community Health spoke about the new plate.

Money raised by the sale of the plates will benefit the Michigan Breast & Cervical Cancer Control Program through the MDCH. Clickhere to learn more about that program.
