EAST LANSING, Mich. (WZZM) -- The threat of cold temperatures this storm system is expected to bring is delaying the celebration for Michigan State's Rose Bowl championship.

On Wednesday, the Spartans knocked off Stanford 24-20 to win the school's first Rose Bowl appearance in 26 years.

The school had planned a celebration for Monday, but athletic director Mark Hollis announced the school is rescheduling to an undetermined date.

The team will still be honored this week during the school's home basketball game on Tuesday against Ohio State.
