HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) -- A Park Township woman has been arrested on charges related to the murder of her ex-boyfriend. Maryann Castorena, 39, was arraigned Friday on charges of lying to police during the murder investigation.
Earlier in the week, Jose Hernandez was found beaten to death in the snow outside his apartment with his car still running.

Investigators say the couple's relationship ended in July. Castorena then married another man in California and returned to the Holland area in November. Her 19-year-old son was still living with Hernandez.
Castorena is now being held on a $1 million bond and investigators say additional charges are possible.
"She is a suspect," said Captain Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff Department. "Whether she is ultimately charged with that homicide is something that will have to be a prosecutor's decision, based upon the facts... I'm confident the facts we're able to gather at this point is she significantly lied about key facts in the homicide investigation."
Investigators believe they've established a motive in the case but are not releasing that information at this point. Castorena is expected back in court on Friday.
