(WZZM) -- The President had his chance to describe the State of the Union Tuesday night. A new report from the Pew Research Center asked 1,507 adults to rank the top priorities for the President and Congress.
The economy came out on Top. 80% said more work needs to be done to stabilize and continue economic growth. The number is down from 86% in 2013.
Improving the job situation is second on the list. 74% still believe more needs to be done to get people working again.
A close third on the Pew Research list is defending the country from terrorism. 73% say this is needs to be a priority. It's actually up 2% points, perhaps the result of last year's bombing at the Boston Marathon.
Four and five on the list focus include improving our educational system and making the social security system sound.
