GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- One person has been arrested in connection with a shooting in downtown Grand Rapids.

A 16-year-old boy was shot around 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Weston Apartments, on Weston Street SW near Division Avenue.

Witnesses reported seeing a black Hundai leave the shooting scene. The car was registered to a person living in the 400 block of Franklin Street SE and an arrest was made around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Oakdale Street and Eastern Avenue SE, according to scanner dispatch.

The teenager was taken to Saint Mary's Hospital with unknown injuries.
