COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department is investigating a home in Comstock Township, where they found a meth lab, and several guns.

Deputies had received calls on methamphetamine manufacturing happening at a home in the 600 block of North 33rd Street.

On March 12th, deputies pulled over a vehicle that was leaving the home, and found methamphetamine on two of the people inside the vehicle. They will be charged at the end of the investigation.

Two days later, deputies got a search warrant for the home. Officers from the Kalamazoo Metro SWAT Team joined the Kalamazoo Sheriff's Department to search the home. They discovered a "one-pot" meth lab in the kitchen of the home and several firearms in the living room, including a large caliber assault rifle. No one was home at the time of the search.

Detectives and Deputies from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office will be requesting at least five charges against the 32 year old resident once the case is forwarded to the Kalamazoo County Prosecutor's Office.
