GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- One of two brothers charged with beating a Grand Rapids prostitute in May entered a guilty plea Tuesday.
Peter Versluys' plea is part of a deal to serve a lesser sentence; instead of spending life in prison, he'll serve between 14 and 24 years.
Michael Versluys, his identical twin brother, opted to stand trial.
Grand Rapids Police say one of the brothers hired the woman for sex. Afterwards, they used their fists and a baton to beat her, causing severe injuries to her head and face.
Police arrested the twins two days after the attack.
