GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- This brutal winter has wreaked havoc on our hands. Many people are dealing with cracked, splitting skin and dry cuticles. It can be painful and something U.S. Postal carrier Larry Ames has experienced this winter.
Larry admittedly doesn't use lotion very often, but when he does it's usually Corn Huskers or Vaseline brand lotions. Larry agreed to try something that's been getting a lot of attention: O'Keefe's Working Hands.
Working Hands has no odor and is thicker than most lotions, yet Larry says it does not have any sort of greasy feel. He agreed to try it for a week to see if it would make a difference on his dry, cracked hands.
Larry said it definitely made a difference. His cuticles weren't nearly as dry and cracked, and his hands were much softer.
Larry said he liked the container because he could keep it with him and remember to put it on everyday. He liked that there was no odor.
O'Keefe's Working Hands sells for $6.99 at a number of stores like Meijer and Bed Bath & Beyond.
