WYOMING, Mich. (WZZM) -- It's been more than two weeks since a tornado hit southern Kent County, and there's still plenty of cleanup left to be done.
Three hundred homes and buildings were destroyed or damaged, leaving many needing help.
On Buchanan Street in Wyoming, neighbors and friends continue to rebuild homes one brick at a time.
"I'm actually doing some construction work on [this] house, replacing doors and siding and some roof repairs," said volunteer David Hosteter. "There's a lot of work on the houses and still a lot of cleanup that needs to be done around here."
Dozens of teenagers from Christian Reform Churches nationwide were also out today helping with the ongoing efforts.
