GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- An Allegiant Air flight that took off from Grand Rapids Sunday night, headed to Orlando, had to make an emergency landing in Greenville, South Carolina.
A spokesperson for the airlines says the plane, Flight 683, "experienced a cabin pressurization issue approximately two hours after take off. The pilots utilized their extensive training to safely land the aircraft."
There have been no reports of injuries. However, flight attendants did have to assist passengers with oxygen masks and safety belts.
Allegiant Air has rescheduled the flight for Monday. The airline provided passengers with hotel accommodations for the night and will issue refunds for their one-way segment and give a $200 voucher toward future travel with Allegiant.
