Grand Rapids (WZZM) - Forget the creams, you can reduce the number of wrinkles on your face with just your fingers. We are going to show you how to do your own Chinese Face Lift.
Zhiqun Zhou is an acupuncturist with the Wege Institute for Mind, Body and Spirit, which is part of Mercy Health Saint Mary's. Click on the video link to learn how a little pressure can go a long way.
Chinese face lift is a form of acupressure, meaning the only tools used are someone's hands and fingers. People can apply pressure to their own faces to reduce wrinkles and relieve sinus pressure, as well as to others. This is what will be taught in a special class so people can continue to do it on themselves.
You can learn acupressure for facial rejuvenation on Thursday, August 7th at the Radiation Oncology Conference Room on the Lower Level of the Lacks Cancer Center in Grand Rapids. The class begins at 6pm and lasts until 7:30pm.
The cost is $45 and space is limited, so you must call to register. The phone number is (616) 685-6923. To learn more about the Wege Institute, click here.
