LAKE MICHIGAN (WZZM) - Waterspouts are being sighted along the Lake Michigan shoreline today.
The unusual weather is creating the right conditions for waterspouts on Lake Michigan. WZZM
The National Weather Service office for Northern Indiana tweeted that waterspout was observed within the last hour in the waters near St. Joseph. Another one has been reported near South Haven.
A Beach Hazard Alert has been posted all along the Lake Michigan shoreline today for 3'-6' waves and dangerous swimming conditions. WZZM Meteorologist George Lessens is forecasting northwest winds of 15-25 mph.
