GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Former republican Governor John Engler spoke Tuesday to the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce.
He discussed the state's business policy and what needs to be done to keep the economy growing. WZZM used the opportunity to ask him about Michigan's economic comeback.
"I think it's very clear there's a lot of good news. Michigan is in a much stronger position," Enger said. "I was in some of the neighboring states-- I was in Indiana recently-- they're starting to pay attention to Michigan, they're feeling some of the more positive energy coming out of the state."
Engler also spoke of his triplet daughters: Hannah, Margaret, and Madeline, who are 19 years old.
"The girls are good; just finishing their first year of college. One here in the state of Michigan in Ann Arbor, one at William and Mary, and one out West at Stanford."
