MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- The Lakeshore Art Festival is taking over downtown Muskegon.
Hundreds of artists, street performers, and craftsmen are downtown showing off their skills this weekend.
There are interactive art projects, Children's Lane, and an artisan food market.
You can even paint your own postcard-sized canvas and take it home with you for $5.
Festival director Carla Flanders says the event stretches from one end of downtown to the other.
"Western Ave. is the main street for craft and food, Hackley Park is for fine art, and the side streets are for food, crafts, artists, music, chalk art, and the food carve."
The festival resumes Saturday, from 10 in the morning to 6 in the evening.
