MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - Child Protective Services in Muskegon County have removed three children from a Muskegon home, after someone left a toddler outside in a rainstorm.

Officers say they found the 18-month-old girl Tuesday around noon. They believe she had been sitting in a stroller in the backyard for nearly an hour, wearing only a diaper.

The toddler's 24-year-old mother had called police to the home on Fleming Avenue because of a domestic dispute she was having with a man inside the home.

Detectives are trying to determine which adult left the child outside. Prosecutors have asked police for a full report before determining if either adult will face charges.
