MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- The clear weather this weekend is good news for organizers of a new jazz festival in Muskegon.
The inaugural Shoreline Jazz Festival takes place Saturday and Sunday at Heritage Landing.
Organizers spent Friday setting up for the event.
The line-up Includes Alexander Zonjic, Kenny G, Boney James, Ruben Studdard and Lalah Hathaway.
Organizers say they toured venues all over the state and believe Heritage Landing is the right place to start an outdoor jazz event, according to executive producer Hawkins Lang.
"Heritage Landing is one of the best venues on this side of the state. No, actually in the whole state. It is on the water, great stage, well-manicured all the time. We need to take advantage of that and let people know Muskegon is on the map ."
Music performances will run from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Learn more at this link.
