GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- The Grand Rapids Griffins need one more win to polish off their opening round opponent in the Calder Cup playoffs.
The Griffs returned home to Van Andel Arena for practice Monday morning after winning two games this weekend at Abbotsford.
The Griffins got some hired help courtesy of the Red Wings.
Two members of last year's Calder Cup champs have rejoined the team after the Red Wings lost to the Bruins Saturday.
Forwards Riley Sheahan and Tomas Jurco are back with the Griffs for their playoff run, and should give them some added scoring punch.
