Metairie, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Orleans Saints have named Mike Neu as their quarterbacks coach.

Neu spent the past two seasons as the quarterbacks coach at Tulane. He had previously been part of the Saints' organization as an area scout for three seasons.

In addition, the former Ball State, CFL and Arena quarterback was the head coach of the New Orleans VooDoo of the Arena League from 2004-08.

The Saints needed a replacement for Joe Lombardi, who left to become the offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions.
