Semi-truck crashes, falls to side; eastbound M-6 reopens

M-6 is re-open after a semi-truck crashed onto its side.

CALEDONIA TOWNSHIP, MICH. - Update: The highway has reopened.

CALEDONIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Eastbound M-6 at M-37/Broadmoor Avenue SE is expected to be closed for several hours as crews clean up after a crash, according to dispatch.

A semi-truck somehow crashed onto its side just after 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, blocking all lanes of the highway.

A dispatcher said it could be several hours still before the road reopens.

There's no word on any injuries nor if any other vehicles were involved, but the dispatcher said an ambulance was sent to the scene.
