Snow, ice return to West Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Temperatures plummeted Wednesday, March 1, behind a strong cold front.

As readings dipped below freezing, roads and sidewalks around the region iced over. This resulted in numerous school delays and cancelations Thursday morning.

Expect to encounter ice covered and slippery roads as you're out and about Thursday.
