Each March, the National Association of Social Workers celebrates the contributions of social works across the nation during National Social Worker Month.
This year’s theme, “Social Workers Stand Up!”, emphasizes how social workers stand up for millions of people every day in many different situations. In hospice and palliative care, social workers are an important part of the inter-disciplinary team, helping patients and their families bring comfort to the end of life journey.
