GRPD, Secret Service look for man who passed counterfeit money in Grand Rapids

Authorities in Grand Rapids are working with the U.S. Secret Service in hopes of identifying a man who passed a number of counterfeit bill during his time in Grand Rapids.

The Grand Rapids Police Department and the U.S. Secret Service has released a photo of a man to the public in hopes of getting a positive identification.

According to a news release from police, the man photographed passed multiple fraudulent bills in the downtown Grand Rapids area in late February. The photo is from surveillance footage right after a counterfeit bill was used.

The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 45 and 55 years old, he wore glasses and was clean shaven with light brown and gray hair and a receding hairline.
