Ian Kinsler traded to Angels

Wednesday night the Detroit Tigers traded second baseman Ian Kinsler to the Los Angeles Angels for a pair of prospects.

The roster restructure continues for the Detroit Tigers.

Earlier tonight the team traded second baseman Ian Kinsler to the Los Angeles Angels for 18-year old right-handed pitcher Wilkel Hernandez and 23-year old centerfielder Troy Montgomery.

The Tigers acquired Kinsler from the Texas Rangers in the Prince Fielder trade prior to the 2014 season. The 35-year old hit .275 with 78 home runs in 607 games. He won the American League Gold Glove in 2016.
