Laughfest 2018 has begun in Grand Rapids, and one of the many events planned is the FUNderwear Run. It's an annual event during LaughFest where runners are encouraged to dress up with underwear on the outside of their clothes and then run a short race.
It's presented by New Holland Brewing Company. Runners are running in support of Gilda's Club and the free cancer, grief, and emotional health support programs offered through the organization.
The race begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday March 11 in downtown Grand Rapids. It starts and ends at New Holland's Knickerbocker. (417 Bridge St. NW) After the race, registered participants will receive an official race t-shirt, a beer ticket and finisher medal.
The eighth annual LaughFest will run March 8 through 18. A full lineup of events can be found on LaughFestGR.org.
