GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Gilda’s LaughFest has launched a new podcast which includes all things LaughFest -- from previous years to what’s coming up during LaughFest 2020.

The "LaughFest Podcast" will explore how the festival has impacted the comedy scene locally, regionally, and nationally.

Listeners will hear from Director of Strategic Initiatives and LaughFest Joanne Roehm and LaughFest friends, including volunteers, partners and artists from the last ten years, for an inside look at what goes into the logistics or the festival.

The first two episodes include original LaughFest co-chair Carroll Velie and Gilda’s Club President and CEO Wendy Wigger who talk about the history of LaughFest and how the idea was born. Also joining are special guests Mary Reagan and Marti O’Brien from Reagan Marketing who discuss the formation of the LaughFest smile and Seriously Funny brand.

“We are excited to give listeners an in-depth look of everything LaughFest,” said Roehm. “We want listeners to be a part of all the laughs that have been made along the way.”

Those interested can listen, or download the podcast at www.laughfestgr.org/podcast. The “LaughFest Podcast” is also available at most podcast download sites.
