We are now nearly a week into LaughFest 2016, and among the seriously funny shows happening tonight is one featuring a woman once named the funniest person in Grand Rapids.

Her name is Nardos Osterhart, and she joined the WZZM 13 News at 5 to talk about her show, Halfrican.

Born in Africa and having moved to America when she was 5, Osterhart says she's been juggling two worlds ever since. She tells touching stories from her past in a humorous way and ends her performance with a standup set that helped her win 2013's Funniest Person in Grand Rapids.

You can catch her show 'tonight at the Wealthy Theatre on Wealthy Street in Grand Rapids. Tickets cost $10, and the show starts at 8.

One thing to note: LaughFest lists the show as rated R.
